Below are answers to our most commonly asked diet delivery questions. Please feel free to contact us by telephone if you have additional questions.


How does the program work?

NIM Diet Gourmet uses a simple online diet analysis tool to determine the perfect meal plan just for you. Your program may be set up online or over the telephone and you may begin the program within 4 days of signing up.

How do the phases work?

Phase 1 refers to a stricter diet that helps correct insulin resistance in your body and results in rapid weight loss. It is meant to last for only 2 weeks. It is ideal for those struggling to lose weight and/or those looking to lose weight quickly. Phase 1 eliminates white flour, sugar, potatoes, alcohol, pasta, rice, and bread from your diet.

Phase 2 provides you with a greater variety of meals and results in slightly slower weight loss. This phase reintroduces certain healthy carbohydrates, such as whole grains, rice and potato into your diet. Your online diet analysis will suggest which phase is ideal for you.

How much weight will I lose?

Average weight loss is between 7-12 pounds in the first two weeks.

How many meals will I receive?

For each day you'll receive 1 Breakfast + 1 Lunch + 1 Dinner, + 2 snacks +1 dessert; all of the food you need for the day!

When do my meals arrive?

Your meals are delivered to your home or office in fresh two-day batches between 10pm and 6am. You will receive your meals each Monday, Wednesday and Friday. So, when you wake up in the morning, your fresh meals are always there waiting for you.

If you live in a private home your meals are placed in a secure location outside your home. If you live in a condo or apartment with 24-hour concierge service your meals may be left with them. If your building does not have security personal we will require a key to access the front door of the building before your delivery begins. Your key will be returned to you at the end of your delivery service.

If you live outside Toronto or the GTA you will receive delivery by FedEx. Delivery takes place on Tuesday's & Friday's before 12 noon.

How does my food arrive?

Your gourmet dishes arrive in an insulated cooler bag. It is ice-packed and locked with a disposable safety seal. Your 3 delicious dishes and 3 nutritious snacks are placed in strong plastic containers that are microwavable and disposable. Before each delivery, we ask that you leave out your cooler bag and icepack for pick up.

How do I select my meals?

You may select your meals and view your menu by simply logging into your personal profile (Just click the ‘I'm a client. Let me In’ icon at the top of this page to access your menu). Alternatively, if you would prefer us to select you meals for you or if you have food allergies or dislikes, we will have our chefs and nutritionists customize a meal plan just for you.

Does everyone receive the same amount of food?

No. Your diet analysis allows us to determine the correct amount of food for you and then your meal plan is customized accordingly. Depending on your activity level, target weight, age and several other factors, we prepare the right amount of food just for you.

What if I need to stop my program?

Programs may be placed on hold for as long as you like whenever you like. We just need 4 days notice before modifications can take effect.

How do I renew?

You can call or email us to renew your program up to 4 days prior from your end date. We will also send you a reminder email to let you know when your program is ending.
